This was a very interesting project to create an online literary magazine site. The magazine has some fantastic content that looks great in all screen sizes! We started with the Ambiance Pro child theme by StudioPress.com and customized it in many ways:
- implemented IssueM plugin for managing magazine issues
- added the Submittable plugin to link to the Submittable service
- full width article-based slider at top of home page
- add metadata like Author and Categories to article grid display
- column-based article formatting integrated into TinyMCE menu
